I painted this rich and vacant place for many months while listening to Neil Young, picking up day after day where I left off. He has the ability to sing of emptiness and fill it with legend, the whine of the trees, the solitude of the road and the desire to keep going, and the discoveries therein. When I say 'Take Any Road,’ I mean that one must move on, keeping moving, don't stop for doubt, be brave and determine your direction, go to your place and find your chance for a future.
